Context: The project “CO-HATY – Reconstruction of 41 housing units into long-term housing for IDPs in Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions for 111 people” will last 1 year and aims to develop and implement projects for the reconstruction of communal property for long-term housing for IDPs, as well as to develop a strategic urban integration and management plan for facilities in close cooperation with city administrations. The project is implemented by the NGO “METALAB”.
We are looking for a person who will be able to effectively conduct market analysis of goods and services in the construction sector, monitor the quality and integrity of suppliers’ work, and participate in the process of developing procurement plans.
Expected tasks and responsibilities:
- Participates in the development of plans for the purchase, supply, receipt and storage of new goods at the enterprise.
- Conducts marketing research on suppliers, distributors, purchases of products and materials, prices and terms of supply in accordance with the established task and the necessary assortment of goods.
- Ensures the preparation, coordination and conclusion of supply contracts. Organizes and controls the supply of products in accordance with the terms stipulated in the contracts, controls the quantity, quality and completeness of products.
- Plans logistics, determines the type of transport, delivery method, transportation routes.
Expected qualifications and skills of the candidate:
● Higher education (preferred)
● Experience in a relevant position for at least 3 years
● Good understanding of construction technological processes.
● Availability of practical experience in construction
● Balance in the ability to work independently and be an excellent team player;
● Good communication skills: express a request clearly, formulate a problem verbally and in writing, respect for other people’s time;
● Experience in creating reports and estimate documentation
● Availability of a driver’s license Conditions of employment Employment until the end of 2024.
